Doing Life with God!

The Holidays! What a magical time. It’s easy to get preoccupied with the busyness of the season that we can miss God. We can miss what He is wanting to share with us during this time. Not that there is anything wrong with what we need to do. Abba just wants to be a part of it.

You may ask, well what does He want to be a part of? Anything! Whether it’s shopping, preparing a recipe, wrapping presents or preparing for a recital (Hint hint, students) God wants to do Life with you. Doing Life with Him also means including Him in our giftings'. There are times when I just want to hear my children sing or play the piano. It doesn’t have to be perfect. I just enjoy watching them move in their giftings'. God loves to see His children in action. Especially action that leads to intimacy with Him. Sometimes we need to lay aside the “doing it perfectly” and move into, doing it for the purpose of Love and connection with God. It was so freeing for me when I realized how much God loved to hear me play, mistakes and all!

God wants to do Life with you. Let’s make time for God. This time can be so much more enriching with Him!
