Programs Tailor Made for All Needs
Group piano lessons are an innovative and unique way to explore playing the piano. Students as young as 7 years old can begin playing their own music in the first few weeks!! NotJustPiano offers fun and enjoyable group piano lessons for beginner piano students from age 5 to adults. Our group classes are designed to introduce the basics of music and piano technique to intermediate level, in a simple and engaging way, providing our students with a wonderful foundation for continued learning and enjoyment. In the studio, each student will be provided their own Keyboard to play. Our group piano lessons are dynamic and enjoyable offering our students valuable social interaction to encourage and challenge one another to achieve higher levels of playing.
The piano program is divided into two semesters. Class will take place once a week in a private setting where you will work on music theory, sight reading, musical notation, chord construction, ear training, progressive musical concepts, and techniques. There are two recitals a year.
Voice Training Program
The voice training program is divided into two semesters. Class will take place once a week in a private setting where you will work on developing tone, pitch, breath control, intonation, emphasis, volume, posture, relaxation, and general voice quality. You will gain awareness of the physical tensions and habits that are hindering your style and develop your physical, emotional and technical capacity to sing freely.
The custom program is for those who are looking for a specialized program that includes voice training and/or piano. Ms. Deanna will assess each individual's needs and goals and how best to reach them. Please call for more information.
Fine Arts Coaching
(A/G District & National Competition AND
Teen Talent International Competition)
Individuals participating in the annual Assemblies of God Fine Arts competition at the district and/or national level or COG Teen Talent state and International competition, can receive one-on-one coaching for 12 weeks beginning January 11 in the categories listed: Vocal Solo, Vocal Ensemble, Christian Praise and Worship Team, Christian Band and Piano Solo.
Beginning in September each year, over 65,000 junior and senior high school students begin preparing their entries for the District and National Fine Arts Festivals. Students may enter as many as 66 categories offered in 8 main divisions: Art, Communication, Dance, Drama, Exhibition, Instrumental, Vocal, and Writing.
